Tango expands further in Asia

Tango Telecom has announced that it has won a contract to deploy a large scale expansion of its Converged Charging Solution for SMS with a major South East Asian operator.

The Tango CCN has been deployed as a distributed real-time system providing SMS charging and SMS Direct delivery capabilities. This latest expansion increases the existing deployment capacity to in excess of 100M SMS per day and constitutes one of the largest such deployments worldwide.

The Tango CCN uniquely enables full convergence in an operator's network. The CCN provides charging (real-time prepaid & postpaid), service support (Voice, SMS, Data, Content) and bearer (GSM, TDMA/CDMA, 3G, WLAN, IP) convergence on a single platform. The CCN also provides value-added services including SMS Direct Delivery, Spam Filtering and Mobile Number Portability.
