Shay Garvey
Shay Garvey joined Delta Partners in 1994 as a General Partner. He serves on the boards of Aircraft Management Technologies Ltd and Branded Payment Solutions Ltd.
He was also previously on the board of Toucan Technology (sold to PMC Sierra Nasdaq: PMCS), Exceptis (sold to Trintech, Nasdaq: TTPA), Rogers Group Storage (sold to P&O, FTSE: PO), and Improveline (sold to Homeserve, FTSE: HSV).
Shay has worked with Exxon, Corning Process Systems and McKinsey Inc. He was also the principal in a number of start up ventures in Ireland before joining Delta. He is past Chairman of the Irish Venture Capital Association and Board member of the European Venture Capital Association.
A graduate of University College Dublin in Chemical Engineering, he has an MS in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, Canada and an MBA with distinction from the Harvard Business School.
